Description
Earthing, also known as grounding, is the process of connecting electrical equipment and installations to the earth through a low-resistance conductor. It provides a safe path for fault current to flow into the ground, protecting people and equipment from electric shock and damage.
An earthing system typically consists of earth electrodes, earth pits, earthing conductors, clamps, and connectors.
